Corporate Citizenship

Global Guidelines

SAP-sponsored corporate citizenship activities adhere to global standards. Each initiative:

  • Must establish clear goals, include milestone reviews, and measure quantifiable results
  • Must be conducted transparently and neutrally
  • Must be reviewed on a regular basis
  • Must comply with SAP's Code of Business Conduct for Employees and with the laws and ethical standards of the respective country
  • Must not discriminate

SAP's philanthropic funds are allocated to specific projects and programs that fit within our targeted areas of interest. We partner primarily with nonprofit organizations that focus on specific education, innovation, and business ethics initiatives. Together, these efforts mutually benefit local communities, employees, partners, and customers.

Reporting

SAP annually reviews all projects, as well as global and regional guidelines, against a concrete set of measurements – with corporate and regional representation and full transparency. SAP will also produce an annual online report on corporate citizenship activities.
